Broad Mite Damage (Polyphagotarsonemus latus)
Broad mite damage on potato.Because of excessive foliar damage, plants appear stunted and would stand out from a distance.
Common on leaves of many garden plants in tropical areas but can occur in the greenhouse and then transferred to the field in temperate areas; occurs on tomato, potato and pepper; note: requires high microscopic magnification to see and identify mites on the underneath side of leaves.
