Anthracnose on Tomato Fruit

Water-soaked circular sunken spots of anthracnose (Colletotrichum coccodes) usually appear on the shoulders of mature fruit.

The darkened central portions of the depressed areas contain many small, dark fungal structures of the anthracnose fungus.
